Jalapenos Mexican Restaurant was established in Stanley, Kansas, in 1991. After experiencing striking success with our first location, we expanded our reach by opening our second site in the Brookside area of Missouri in 1995. Grounded by family members, friends, and devoted staff, Jalapenos has built a thriving Mexican restaurant environment focused on fresh food, meticulous attention to detail, and outstanding quality service. This winning 'recipe' has shaped our restaurant success story and allowed us to serve generations of Peppers to this day.
In 2013, the two original partners decided to part ways, each taking their well-established location: Pat Hernandez continued to run the Stanley restaurant, while Benny Hernandez took charge of the Brookside restaurant. Both owners are dedicated to upholding Jalapenos Mexican Restaurant’s high standards of fresh food, careful attention to detail, and the quality service that our loyal customers have come to appreciate.
